Alan began his journey in the motor trade some 40 years ago. With experience in multiple brands before Land Rover. Working on such marques as Mazda, Audi & Rover. 

His career with Land Rover started back in 1992 when a Land Rover dealership moved into Halesworth Suffolk. Starting off as a technician, and working up through the ranks Alan soon became a Master Technician, the highest level of technician training. 

Following a number of years as a Master Technician Alan, worked up to become Foreman and later Workshop Controller for a Land Rover Main Dealer.

Following the closure of the Land Rover Dealership in Halesworth, Alan knew he could build on years of experience and the local customer base. This is when he decided to offer Land Rover main dealer experience and tooling with a friendly service and reasonable pricing. 

Alan Curtis Land Rover Specialist was born in 2015. Now 6 years later, with 3 ramps, 2 full time technicians, an apprentice and office administrator, ACLRS is going from strength to strength. Now repairing and servicing everything from series Land Rovers through to the latest in Hybrid Range Rovers.
